nocturnal heads

for this image I used specimens that had one criteria: that they have the largest eye to head ratio I could find. The animals have been both shrunk and enlargened to relative to each other so that they can all be visually compared side by side. They range from a spider to a monkey and this portraiture showcases the incredible evolutionary convergence that these 7 animals have evolved to become by the eons of selective pressure to ply their trades at night.
