This was a mock up of a magazine article showcasing the amazing convergence of two of the most iconic termite eaters- a pangolin and an anteater. The image stretches reality because they inhabit separately the old and new worlds- their respective ranges never come close to overlapping. I chose to show them chipping away at the same termite mound to demonstrate how similar their morphology has become, because of their shared diet of termites.
