Mantispids have perhaps the most amazing lifecycle of all the insects…in my amateurly professional opinion. They hitch a ride on a passing spider, wrap like a belt around the pedicel and wait. Sneak into the eggsac during its construction, and slowly devour all the spider eggs while they pass through their final larval stages into (flying mantis-like) adulthood.
